SaaSMAX Deal Registration makes it easy for resellers to track and manage sales opportunities.

Why is Deal Registration Important?

Deal Registration is important for several reasons:

• Protection – Deal Registration protects your leads and sales opportunities and insures you’ll receive commission on any Registered Deals approved by App Vendors on SaaSMAX.

• Lead Management – Deal Registration provides an easy way to manage sales leads and prioritize opportunities based on deal size.

• Communication – Deal Registration is an easy to use platform to communicate back and forth with App Vendors on your sales leads.

• Closing Sales – By providing App Vendors with Deal Registrations, you may receive incentives, marketing funds or other discounts from the App Vendor to get deals closed.

Registering a Deal

Resellers can Register a Deal from anywhere within SaaSMAX system, including the home page, Marketplace and your Dashboard.  Look for the Register Deal button on any of these pages.

After you click on the Register Deal button, you’ll be prompted to fill in a Deal Registration form. The Register Deal form works as follows:

• Unique Deal Registration Number – each Deal is automatically assigned an unique Deal Registration number, making it easy to track and manage throughout the SaaSMAX platform.

• App and App Pricing Plan – Enter the App, App Pricing Plan, Number of Licenses and and the Offer Package if any.

• Sales Information – Enter the App Vendors account manager and your sales representative (if applicable).  This helps you and the App Vendor to track commissions internal to the company.

• App Vendor Questions – Enter any questions you may have the App Vendor.

• Company (lead) Information – Enter the customers contact information.

• Proof of Deal – Enter or upload any Proof of the Deal you may have, such as a quote, customer relationship, referral, new lead, etc.

• Terms – If approved, each Deal will automatically expire 6 months from the date of the Deal Registration.  By registering this Deal, the information will be confidentially provided to the App Vendor.  The App Vendor will review the deal and either Accept it or Reject it.

Managing Deal Registrations

At anytime you can run reports and manage your Deals and Sales Opportunities directly from your SaaSMAX Dashboard.  Click on DEAL MANAGER in the left side navigation area and you’ll get a list of your current Deal Registration activity and status updates directly from App Vendors.

Converting a Sale

When you convert a Deal with your customer into a Sale that earns you a commission, simply click on the REPORT SALE link within the relevant approved Deal Registration.  The App Vendor might report the sale into SaaSMAX before you, in which case you will be notified by SaaSMAX and expected to verify and approve the transaction.

Reporting a Sale is similar to Registering a Deal, simply complete the Report a Sale form and submit it to the App Vendor.  Any Reported Sales on the SaaSMAX Platform will create a commission invoice for the App Vendor, recurring for the life of that Transaction.

Report a Sale without Deal Registration
Most App Vendors in SaaSMAX permit you to Report a Sale directly on SaaSMAX without Registering a Deal.  Under Deal Manager, simply click on REPORT SALE.
